A Thanksgiving Recipe For Your Stay at Watermark

Here at Watermark Beach Resort, we’ve been lucky enough to witness many a family reunion over the last few years. Our lovely suites come complete with gourmet kitchens, providing the perfect Osoyoos location for get-togethers and family getaways, pets included! So for the families who are going to be staying with us this Thanksgiving weekend, we’ve done some searching online and found a Thanksgiving-themed recipe for you to try!

From Cooks.com, here it is:

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Ingredients required:

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 lb. can pumpki
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method:

Measure all ingredients in a big mixing bowl. Beat together well for 5 minutes. Pour into cupcake pans (fill more than 1/2 full). Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Once ready, don’t forget to share with the staff at Watermark Beach Resort (we may have added this direction…)

If you’re staying with us this weekend, keep in mind that there is an abundance of farms and markets in the South Okanagan area that will be great places to shop for Thanksgiving ingredients. Watermark Beach Resort also has lots of excellent wineries close by that will be able to provide you with the perfect dinner pairing.

If you’re looking for something to do during your Thanksgiving stay, be sure to visit the Osoyoos Golf Club. The golf course is still in perfect shape and the weather is bound to be fine this holiday weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving!
