Friday, June 15th
Don’t miss the welcoming and delicious BBQ Reception featuring Watermark’s host, Chef Adair Scott; Devour! founder, Chef Michael Howell; Chef Jeff Van Geest of Oliver’s Miradoro Restaurant; and celebrated fishmonger, Jon Croft, at the oyster-shucking station. Start the weekend off right with bubbly and rose.
Live music and dancing, along with special Devour! Cocktails keep the evening alive at the After Party at JoJo’s![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Saturday June 16th
Get your game on at the Chowder Smackdown!
Watch as the chefs get creative in their all-out battle of the bowl! Featuring Chefs Paul Cecconi, Ross Derek, Michael Howell, Roy Johnson, Joanne Muirhead, Julie van Rosendaal, Janice Uebelhardt, and the PICA student team led by Chef Darren Clay. Proceeds from this event will go toward the Lower Similkameen Community Foundation.
Raise the bar on your wine knowledge (then raise your glass to our talented Similkameen Independent Winegrowers!) at our Wine Education Sessions.
Join our wine professionals for a series of seminars throughout the afternoon. Panelled discussions include: Best Varietals of the Similkameen, The Micro-Terroirs of the Similkameen Valley, and Ciders and Fruit Wines of the Similkameen.
Tantalize your tastebuds on the plate and screen at the Gala Dinner.
The whole weekend culminates in this event. Each of our featured chefs will create the perfect dish to go with their unique short food films and an amazing Canadian wine. How will it all come together?
